WASHINGTON, D.C. –
The U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), in cooperation with The Heritage Foundation and with support from the Embassy of Ukraine to the USA and the U.S.-Ukraine Foundation (USUF) is sponsoring the ”Ukrainian Economic Growth, Freedom and Investment Summit” on Friday, September 16th in Washington, D.C.  The summit will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m at The Heritage Foundation, 214 Massachusetts Avenue, NE, Washington, D.C.

 

Featured presenters and panelists will include:

1.   Anatoliy Kinakh, President, Ukrainian League of Industrialists & Entrepreneurs, Member of Parliament, Advisor to President, former Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Kyiv, Ukraine

2.   Leonid Kozachenko, President, Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, former Deputy Prime Minister for Agrarian Policy, leading agri-businessman, Kyiv, Ukraine

3.   Lesya Orobets, Member of Parliament, head of the Basic Education Subcommittee of the Science and Education Committee, Kyiv, Ukraine

4.   Olexander Motsyk, Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States of America, Washington, D.C.

5.   James Roberts, Research Fellow For Economic Freedom and Growth, Center for International Trade and Economics (CITE), The Heritage Foundation, leading expert in economic freedom &

growth, produces the annual Index of Economic Freedom, an analysis of the economic climate of countries throughout the world co-published by Heritage & The Wall Street Journal.

Additional presenters and panelists for the Summit will be announced shortly.  Anatoliy Kinakh will be heading a seven person delegation of  private business leaders from Ukraine.
