UCC Summer Student Positions (Canada-wide)


Full time hours (approximately 9 weeks) starting in the Spring-Summer.

Locations: Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal


The Ukrainian Canadian Congress is seeking dynamic and highly motivated summer students with broad sets of skills to support the ongoing work of Canada’s national voice of the organized Ukrainian Canadian community in Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. The positions are open to all returning post-secondary students with a desire to earn career-related work experience.


Position Summary:

* Development and implementation of archive management program

* Scanning key of archival and heritage documents and images

* Development and implementation of community awareness activities

* Provide general office administrative support, including inquiries from general public.



* Post-secondary student returning to school this upcoming fall

* Experience working with community organizations and individuals

* A keen understanding of the Ukrainian Canadian community in Canada

* Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills

* Ability to multi-task and problem solve

* Fluency in English and Ukrainian. Proficiency in French an asset

Remuneration: Pay varies from province to province, with work for approximately 9 weeks, starting in late Spring.
