June 7-12, 2014 – KYIV, UKRAINE.. The President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) Mr. Paul Grod attended the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected President of Ukraine, Mr. Petro Poroshenko at Ukraine’s Parliament (Verkhovna Rada).

World Cup has now expanded to include Visa (NYSE:V), Kia Motors (OTN: KIMTF) and Sony (NYSE:SNE) .
United with Ukraine, the organization spearheading the campaign was formed to mobilize global
grassroots opposition to Vladimir Putin and Russia’s illegal annexation of Ukraine’s Crimean peninsula
and its orchestrating of violent terrorist activities across Eastern and Southern Ukraine. The 2018 World
Cup was awarded to Russia by FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association), the international
governing body of the sport of football.

OTTAWA – MAY 12, 2014.. The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) issued the following statement on yesterday’s so-called “referendum” in Donetsk and Luhansk, Ukraine:
“The world community must join Canada and the United States in rejecting the results of today’s so-called referendums staged in some parts of eastern Ukraine.
UCC DENOUNCES CRIMEAN “REFERENDUM” AS UNCONSTITUTIONAL, ILLEGAL AND ILLEGITIMATE
The “referendum” which took place in Crimea Sunday under the illegal occupation of Russian armed forces who have invaded sovereign Ukrainian territory, is unconstitutional, illegal and illegitimate. The Constitutional Court of Ukraine ruled the “referendum” to be in breach of several provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine.
