The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC or Congress) is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual with a broad set of skills and experience as the Fundraising Coordinator for Canada’s national organized voice of the Ukrainian community.
The Ukrainian Canadian Congress is seeking an experienced fundraiser with a successful track record of securing significant commitments from individuals, foundations, orgainzations and corporations. Working closely with the Board and Executive, the Fundraising Coordinator will be a front line fundraiser, building partnerships with UCC supporters, with a particular focus on individual, corporate and community partners. The successful candidate will require a solid track record of building philanthropic relationships with foundations, estates, corporations and individuals, from the identification of new prospects to solicitation and stewardship.
Qualifications
- A keen understanding of the of the Ukrainian Canadian community in Canada
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- Three or more years of experience in a dynamic not-for-profit environment
- A very strong track record in securing significant philanthropic commitments from and strategic partnerships with multiple donor markets
- Exceptional writing skills, with a track record in successful proposal writing
- Good experience in volunteer relations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A willingness to travel
- Fluency in oral and written Ukrainian
Location: preference for Winnipeg, however, there may be some flexibility for the location where the successful candidate resides
Remuneration including a benefits package is commensurate with experience
