1) SASK. Prov. CYMK Jamboree – “Ukraine: Then and Now….”
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!! YES, right now!! Saskatchewan Provincial CYMK is hosting their third annual Jamboree! This year’s theme is ‘Ukraine: Then and Now…’ and will take place on June 3-5, 2011, at Zeleni Hai (Green Grove Camp) on Wakaw Lake, SK. Guest speakers, Prof. Vladimir Kricsfalusy of the University of Saskatchewan, and Rev. Fr. Taras Makowsky, will lead participants in engaging discussion on contemporary issues. The weekend will also feature icebreakers, team building, softball games, swimming, a vatra, a zabava, Divine Liturgy on Sunday, and many opportunities to meet CYMKivtsi from across Canada and spend time with old friends. 2) Mohyla Institute’s Cultural Immersion Summer School

2011 marks the 95th Anniversary of St. Petro Mohyla Institute!!! Check out www.mohyla.ca for the latest news regarding St. Petro Mohyla Institute’s Cultural Immersion Summer Program. The Institute is committing it’s resources to run a full scale educationally accredited program at the 10, 20, and 30 levels starting in July 2012. Further research and development will take place with regards to the addition of a University level credit available to students who have completed level 30. This includes academic instruction as well as lessions and activities in choir, dance, instrumental music, cooking, art and more. Please spread the word to anyone that might be interested in attending, working, volunteering or donating to the program. Register by April 15, 2011, to ensure that program will run in July 2011.
