One day after 30 of their countrymen were killed, Calgary Ukrainians rallied at Olympic Plaza Sunday to condemn ongoing attacks by Russian rebels.

About 50 people joined the protest organized by Support for Ukraine-Calgary, a volunteer group demanding the Russian Federation release Ukrainian political prisoners.

In light of the recent deadly attack Saturday in Eastern Ukraine, protester Stephania Romaniuk fears for her friends.
