Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival
The 19th annual Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival will be in full swing from September 18-20, 2015.
The Festival has established itself as one of the premier cultural festivals in North America, attracting some 620,000 visitors of widely diverse backgrounds from across Canada, the US and abroad to its free, family-focused, three-day street event. Highlights include international and local performers on two full-time stages, delicious food, cultural displays, a midway, the crowd-pleasing parade, a sidewalk sale by area merchants, an outdoor beverage garden, a film festival, vendor kiosks and street dances, all located on Bloor St. West between Jane St. and Runnymede Rd. in Toronto.
The BWV Toronto Ukrainian Festival was recently named one of the 2015 “Top 100 Festivals or Events” in Ontario by Festivals & Events Ontario (FEO), the provincial not-for-profit tourism association devoted to the growth of the festivals and events industry in Ontario. This is the third year in a row that the Festival has been honoured with this distinction.
