February 28, 2020. OTTAWA, ON. The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) welcomes the upcoming visit of The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, to Ukraine on March 4-6. The UCC is honoured to be invited to participate in Minister Champagne’s visit. UCC CEO Ihor Michalchyshyn will accompany Minister Champagne on his visit to Ukraine.
Minister Champagne stated, “My visits to Latvia, Ukraine and Poland will be important opportunities to discuss the close ties between Canada and these three countries and our shared priority of promoting security and prosperity in the region in the face of rising threats. I also look forward to visiting Canadian Armed Forces members who are supporting NATO along with the security forces of Ukraine in making Eastern Europe more secure and stable.”
