November 24, 2020, Ottawa – The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) and the Ukrainian Canadians Students’ Union (SUSK) are pleased to announce the appointment of Adriana (Danya) Wasylyk as the new SUSK National Coordinator.
As the SUSK National Coordinator, Ms. Wasylyk will split her duties between SUSK and UCC. Funding for this position is made possible by the generous donations which UCC and SUSK receive throughout the year.
“I am delighted to welcome Danya to the UCC team,” said Alexandra Chyczij, UCC National President. “As we move through this challenging time, it is important for our community to remain engaged with our Ukrainian Canadian youth. I am confident Danya will play a key role in this regard and wish her luck on the journey ahead.”

Danya Wasylyk recently completed her bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Care at Ryerson University in Toronto. She is an active volunteer in the Ukrainian community, including with Dena Ukrainian Dance Ensemble. She has also served as President at the Ukrainian Students’ Club at Ryerson University.
