The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) is deeply saddened learn of the death of Canadian Émile-Antoine Roy-Sirois, who gave his life defending Ukraine’s freedom against Russia’s genocidal war. The UCC and the Ukrainian Canadian community extend our deepest sympathy to Mr. Roy-Sirois’ family during this difficult time. Mr. Roy-Sirois will be remembered by the Ukrainian people and our community for his selflessness and commitment to the values of liberty and justice that Canada and Ukraine share.
