The four-month Internship program provides valuable experience for Ukrainian-Canadian university graduates to work on Parliament Hill and helps develop the next generation of Ukrainian Canadian leaders.
“This exceptional program is an excellent way for youth to gain experience in the Canadian democratic process,” stated Demyan Hyworon, Chair of the UCC Charitable & Education Trust. “It provides a unique opportunity for young people to work in the heart of democracy where history is made, and to benefit from the learning and professional development opportunities this environment provides.”
The internship is scheduled to begin during the winter session of Parliament, in February 2023. Interns will have the opportunity to work at the federal level, potentially with Members of Parliament, Senators, or other opportunities. The UCC will continue to strictly follow all guidelines and directives from federal, provincial and local authorities in implementing our Parliamentary Internship Program.
