The “Canadian Teachers – Sharing Expertise and Best Practices with Ukrainian Teachers” is a collaborative project of the UCC National Ukrainian Education Council (NUEC) and Ukrainian NGO “Osvotiriya”. This project aims to facilitate the exchange of experiences and the transfer of pedagogical best practices between educators in Canada and Ukraine, with the overarching goal of enhancing the quality of education in Ukraine.
Tatiana Sunak, Chair of the NUEC, anticipates positive outcomes of the project, stating, “We expect an increase in the level of pedagogical competence among teachers in Ukraine, the implementation of advanced practices leading to improvements in the quality of education, the development of international partnerships, a growth in interest among Ukrainian teachers in international professional development, and an enhancement of the prestige of the teaching profession in Ukraine.”
The project features informative webinars by expert educators, facilitators, and professionals involved in the field of education. The cover a variety of topics related to teaching practices, particularly in the context of mixed-level classrooms. All recordings of past webinars are archived on the “Osvitoria” YouTube channel.
