March 15, 2024. OTTAWA. Today Russia murdered at least 16 innocent people and injured at least 55 others in a terror strike on Odesa. Russia purposely targeted residential areas of the city with ballistic missiles.
“We express our deep condolences to the loved ones of the innocent victims murdered today in Russia’s barbaric terrorist attack. The carnage and destruction Russia is committing against Ukraine will not end until Russia is defeated,” stated Alexandra Chyczij, National President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress. “Canada and NATO allies can provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces the weapons and ammunition needed to defeat Russia. We should be providing Ukraine long-range weapons to hit Russian weapons depots, but our governments continue to waver and self-deter. We call on Canada and allies to provide the weapons Ukraine needs to win and designate Russia a terrorist state.”
According to Ukrainian authorities, rescue operations continue.
