- Why is the Canada Media Fund, which receives funding from the Government of Canada, supporting Russians At War?
- Why are TVO and Ontario Creates, which receive funding from the Government of Ontario, supporting Russian propaganda?
On September 6, TVO issued a disgraceful statement seeking to excuse their support of Russian propaganda. UCC responded, “TVO’s claim that the movie is “antiwar” because it shows the “disillusionment” of Russian soldiers is insulting and ludicrous. Russian soldiers have killed, raped and tortured Ukrainians for 10 years. Showcasing their “disillusionment” while conducting an illegal, genocidal war of aggression is a disgusting perversion of the term antiwar.”
