The showcase will highlight the work of Youth Ambassadors from across Canada as they share their community impact projects, leadership journeys, and reflections from the past eight months.
This year’s cohort has developed an impressive range of initiatives addressing real needs within the Ukrainian Canadian community. Projects have focused on newcomer support, healthcare navigation resources, immigration advocacy, cultural engagement, youth leadership development, Ukrainian literature and storytelling, public policy, fundraising effectiveness, and community education. Many of these projects are already live and making a tangible impact, while others continue to grow through partnerships with local organizations, schools, libraries, and community groups.
The Youth Ambassador Program is built on a simple but important principle: investing in young leaders creates lasting benefits for our communities. Through mentorship, skills development, advocacy training, and practical project implementation, participants gain the experience and confidence needed to become active contributors and future leaders.
As we celebrate the accomplishments of the 2025–2026 cohort, we would also like to thank the many donors, mentors, speakers, volunteers, branches, Provincial Councils, and community partners who have supported the program throughout the year. Your investment in youth leadership makes these opportunities possible and helps ensure a strong future for the Ukrainian Canadian community.
We hope you will join us on June 9 to celebrate the impact of this remarkable group of young leaders.
Stay tuned this summer as we introduce the 2026–2027 UCC Youth Ambassador cohort and continue growing this national network of emerging Ukrainian Canadian leaders.
