The UCC shall consist of the following Members:

  • Ukrainian Catholic Brotherhood of Canada, Ukrainian Self-Reliance League of Canada, Ukrainian National Federation of Canada, League of Ukrainian Canadians, Ukrainian Canadian Professional and Business Federation and Council of Ukrainian Credit Unions of Canada (hereinafter ”Category A Members“);
  • Other Ukrainian organizations and associations whose activities are of a Canada wide character, who apply and are accepted as Members (hereinafter ” Category B Members “);
  • Provincial Councils;
  • Branches.

Organizations, associations and clubs, whose activities are of a Canada wide character, may apply for membership in the Ukrainian Canadian Congress.

Organizations, associations and clubs applying for membership must fulfill the following conditions:

  • be a national non-profit Ukrainian Canadian organization;
  • must support the purposes of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress;
  • declare in writing their intention to join; and
  • submit their charter or constitution and furnish information concerning the activities of their organization.

All applications are reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress.
Applicants are notified in writing of the decision taken by the Board of Directors of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress with respect to their application status.

Members pay to the Ukrainian Canadian Congress an annual membership fee prescribed by the Board of Directors.

Presently there are several categories of membership in the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, as follows:

  1. Organizations, defined in the UCC Constitution, as organizations of membership category 3.(a), currently pay an annual membership fee of $1,200.
  2. Organizations, defined in the UCC Constitution, as organizations of membership category 3.(b), currently pay an annual membership fee of $350.
  3. Provincial Councils pay an annual membership fee of $350.
  4. Branches pay an annual membership fee of $150.
