Denny (Bohdan) Dzerowicz
BIO
Bohdan (Denny) Dzerowicz is a semi-retired businessman with over 55 years’ experience in the Design and Display industry having served over 100 clients in Canada, the US, South American and Europe. Starting off as an Estimator at a summer job in the early 60’s, Denny quickly transitioned to Chief Estimator with clients such as Air Canada, Governments of Canada and Ontario including projects for EXPO 1967 in Montreal. As an Account Executive with Panex Display Inc. Denny was responsible for the design and production of a permanent Ukrainian Exhibit in Casa Loma (Toronto, Ontario) which was housed in the Castle for over 15 years. Continuing in the exhibit and display field, but this time as an owner of his own business, Bohdan Dzerowicz serviced many clients including Oxford Properties, the LCBO, Trimark Financial, Cencosud (Argentina), Burnac Corporation to name a few. He is the Principal Promoter behind the Holodomor National Awareness Tour Project, an idea that started off by wanting to create a physical bricks and mortar museum for the Holodomor. The logistics, let alone the time factor of this, got a little complicated which lead him to the idea of bringing the history of the Holodomor to the people, a concept that was not new to him; his company was the lead for Our Petroleum Challenge display that travelled across Canada with 4 – 40 foot trailers on 1973. Today people across Canada have the history of the Holodomor coming to them by way of the Holodomor National Awareness Tour.
