Dr. Jurij Darewych is a founding member and Past President of Canadian Friends of Ukraine, a Foreign Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and past Chair of the Human Rights Commission of the Ukrainian World Congress. Holding a Ph.D. in Physics, he is Professor Emeritus of Physics at York University, Toronto
