Aug 1 Ottawa – The Ukrainian Canadian Congress welcomes the recent strong statements of support for Ukraine’s territorial integrity from the Government of Canada and Canada’s Official Opposition.
Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Honourable Chrystia Freeland, and Canada’s Official Opposition critics, the Honourable Erin O’Toole, Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs, and James Bezan, Shadow Minister for National Defence, both issued strongly worded statements, full text is available below. This follows the July 25, 2018 Crimea Declaration by the United States.
