XXVI Triennial Congress Program Announced
May 27, 2019. OTTAWA, ON. The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) announces the program of plenary sessions and workshops for the XXVI Triennial Congress of Ukrainian Canadians, which will be held in our nation’s capital, Ottawa on November 1-3, 2019.
“We have a rich and diverse community and the Triennial Congress will focus on strengthening our engagement with the 1.4 million-strong Ukrainian community in Canada,” stated Ann Szyptur, Chair of the Triennial Congress Organizing Committee. “Being proud Ukrainian Canadians means different things for different people. We want to hear from you on how best to reach out and include as many people as possible.”

- Supporting Ukraine
- Arts and Culture
- Education
- Strengthening business and professional opportunities
- Priorities and plans for the Ukrainian Canadian Congress and much more!

“We are offering delegates and guests an opportunity to hear from community leaders, international experts and help shape our priorities and plans for the future,” stated Alexandra Chyczij, UCC National President. “Join us in Ottawa in November!”
The Congress will also honour community leaders through the Taras Shevchenko Medal, National Leadership Award and the Youth Leadership Award. The deadline for nominations is June 30th, 2019.
