What’s new for Winter 2024 in Fundraising?

Happy New Year!
Another year has gone by; it seems like time flies faster post-Covid. Each new year brings highs and lows. For most of us, the month of February will forever be burned into our bodies and souls; yet, as the people of Ukraine are continuing with their daily lives, we should also strive to do so, as Russia continues its genocidal invasion of Ukraine.
So, as our daily lives continue, I would like to keep you up to date with ongoing trends – monthly giving is on the rise. Monthly donors give twice as much as a one-time donor and are five times as likely to continue their support for over three years.
In the next month, March of 2024, CanadaHelps will donate:
- extra $20 for each new monthly gift of $20 or more
- additional $10 for existing monthly donations increased by $10 or more, when made to the charity of your choice through CanadaHelps, for up to $125,000!
Monthly giving offers the UCC a steady and predictable source of funding. Last summer, UCC partnered with BCU Financial in matching monthly gifts. If you missed this opportunity, here is another one to match funds in support of the UCC.
