February 8, 2025. VANCOUVER, BC. The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) encourages everyone to support Team Ukraine and all Veterans from 25 competing nations at the Invictus Games. The Games are taking place in Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia, February 8-16.
Thirty-five Veterans from Ukraine, who suffered physical and psychological wounds heroically defending Ukraine from Russia’s genocidal war of aggression, are participating in the Games.
“The Ukrainian community in British Columbia and across Canada are deeply honoured to welcome Ukraine’s Heroes to BC for the Invictus Games,” stated Natalka Jatskevich, UCC Vice President – West. “Ukraine’s Veterans embody the spirit, unity and bravery of the Ukrainian people, who for three years have defended their country and the freedom of Europe from Russia’s genocidal assault. We wish Team Ukraine and all Veterans competing a successful Invictus Games!”
