As we gather with our family and friends during the Christmas season, I would like to recognize and thank all the volunteers and donors that make our Ukrainian Canadian community so exceptional.
With your support, we will continue to develop a strong and vibrant community. A community that not only takes care of its own from cradle to grave but supports other communities in Canada and around the world, including our brothers and sisters in Ukraine.
As we usher in a new year, let us be proud of who we are and what we have achieved. With your generous support we will continue to ensure the Congress represents and serves all its members.
On behalf of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress and my family Adrianna, Roman, Danylo, Larysa and Olena, I extend my best wishes for a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year!

The Minister further commented that Ukraine will remain a key foreign policy priority for Canada.

National Arts Council Website Launch
At the last triennial congress, the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) launched a new committee, the National Arts Council (NAC). The goal of the committee is to create a network for Ukrainian Canadian artists whereby they can gain visibility and recognition within Canada, and find creative means to continue their artistic growth through the celebration of the Ukrainian arts.
The NAC’s current project is the development of a website (nac.ucc.ca) that will feature a Ukrainian Canadian Artists Directory, Resource Section and Profiles on varying arts groups and individuals in Canada. In order for this project to be successful, the NAC is asking for assistance from the entire community to help spread the word and make sure that all the artists in your area are aware of this new tool. Thank you!
