“In its war against Ukraine, Russia has committed horrific, systemic human rights violations, crimes against humanity and war crimes. Effectively addressing these crimes and ensuring that the perpetrators face justice will require international unity, and will be crucial in the return of peace to Europe,” stated Ann Szyptur, UCC Vice President and Chair of the XXVII Congress Organizing Committee. “We are honoured to welcome renowned experts and officials to the Congress to discuss this fundamental issue, and what our community can do to assist the Ukrainian people.”
