Join UCC’s Winter Call to Action Today! Tell your MP – Stand With Ukraine!
The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) is grateful to everyone who participated in our November Call to Action.
As Members of Parliament return home for the holiday break, we need your help to make sure Canada’s MPs Stand with Ukraine in the new year!
Bill C-57, the Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act, 2023 will be voted on in 3rd reading when the House of Commons returns in the new year.
This Bill will implement the modernized CUFTA that was negotiated by Canada and Ukraine and signed by President Zelensky and Prime Minister Trudeau in September. CUFTA will help increase trade and economic ties between our two countries. Unfortunately, the Official Opposition has voted against this bill on previous occasions. Please help us make sure Bill C-57 is adopted unanimously!
Russia is waging a genocidal war of aggression against Ukraine. In order to defeat Russia, the Ukrainian people need our sustained and united support.
Some of our allies are decreasing aid to Ukraine. Ukraine needs Canada to step up and increase the delivery of heavy weapons to Ukraine – tanks, armoured personnel carriers, long-range missile systems, air defence systems, naval defence systems and requisite ammunition. This requires all party support. We need you to tell your MP how important it is that they Stand With Ukraine!

For over 600 days Russia has waged a genocidal war of aggression against Ukraine. In order to defeat Russia, Ukraine needs to strengthen economic resilience through tools like free trade agreements.
Everyone who supports Ukraine is very alarmed at the decreasing aid and assistance to Ukraine from its western partners. Canada needs to step up and increase the delivery of heavy weapons to Ukraine – tanks, armoured personnel carriers, long-range missile systems, air defence systems, naval defence systems and requisite ammunition.
