ROADS TO FREEDOM
On the 20th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine and
The 20th anniversary of the Rebirth of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy
October 7-8, 2011 at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy
The Conference will focus on Principal Accomplishments and Challenges in the Foreign Policy of the European Union and Ukraine 2010-2012 , The University as an Autonomous Center and a Factor in the Development of Civil Society. Principal Challenges for the 21st Century, Freedom of Research: from Dissidents to Public Intellectuals.
Participants in the Conference will include leaders and representatives of European and North American universities, political figures, representatives of Ukraine’s civil society and foreign governments, journalists, authors, academics.
Closing Reception will be held at the Embassy of Poland in Kyiv, and will be attended by all participants and invited ambassadors of foreign countries in Ukraine.
